How Sunstead connects
A few things to know before you connect

Start at home.
Take the view with you.

Sunstead is in early access. If you already run it on your Pi, here’s how to connect.

  1. Open your local Sunstead.

On the same home network, open your Pi’s local address. Your local dashboard works independently of this website.

  2. Pair your browser.

Open Remote & displays on your primary Pi. Enable remote access and scan its connection QR code with your phone.

  3. Save your connection.

Sign in with Google, then save the paired system to your account. You can find it here on your next visit.

When you’re awayRemote viewing needs an internet connection and an online Pi. Remote access is currently read-only; equipment changes stay on your authorized local connection.

What you can connectSupport depends on your inverter, battery and connection hardware. Your Pi’s Equipment page shows detected devices and supported operations.

Your accountGoogle sign-in is currently limited to approved test accounts. Signing in alone never grants access to a Pi. Read about data & privacy.

Get to know your energy.
